Eagle Scout Scholarship
The SAR Eagle Scout Scholarship program is open to all Eagle Scouts that will not reach their 19th birthday during the calendar year of application. The scholarship competition has three levels: Cherokee Chapter, Georgia State Society, and National Society. The program will automatically advance the winning Eagle Scout’s entry to the next level of competition. The potential for awards are as follows:

Entry for the Eagle Scout Scholarship consists of three parts: an Application, Four Generation Ancestor Chart, and a 500 Word Essay with a patriotic theme. Entries are FIRST SUBMITTED TO the Cherokee Chapter and not directly to the Georgia or National Society. However, for additional information about the Eagle Scout Scholarship program, you can read the rules at the National and State websites. In order to be compete through the Cherokee Chapter, please email our Eagle Scout Chairman. for instructions on how to submit your entry.
